When it comes to buildings, Paco concerns himself with the people inside them. The flow of space is especially important to Paco, who uses the “tennis ball” method to determine the most intuitive path between any two points.

“I don’t like dog houses, I prefer to spend time at the feet of my pet humans and try to spend equal amounts of time with each team member. It can be a tough job, but I love it.”

A native of Oakland, Paco lives with his family in a house renovated by Amato Architecture. He gives the new indoor-outdoor lower floor: four paws up.
